About Us

Established in 1999, Age Concern New Forest is an independent charity, separate from Age UK and other related organisations. We operate local charity shops and use a variety of facilities to support the older population (55+) in the New Forest area of Hampshire.

Our charity is overseen by a board of local volunteer trustees and managed by a CEO. Our success is attributed to our staff and volunteers. We are funded through our charity shops, contributions for some activities, donations, legacies, grants, and other fundraising efforts, without reliance on government funding.
